This is Just to Say
I have eaten
the questions
that were in
the insult
and which you
were probably
saving for
business
Forgive me
they were difficult
so tart and
so conclusive.

Wow--I cannot wait to try this.
I'm sure you probably announced this good news previously on your blog...but damn, I'm smiling right now because I was just flipping through the current issue of Poets & Writers that just came in the mail today---and whose smiling face did I see looking back at me on page 87? YOURS. (grin) It really made me smile to see a familiar face in them thar pages. I don't know you, Peter, but I feel like I do thanks do your blog, so it was a good, good feeling to see you in that magazine. And then when I read your good news on page 93, damn...I had to run to the computer and say: Congratulations!
Prairie Schooner. Damn. Good, good, good for you!!!
Smiling and smiling,
Laurel
I couldn't find a link at P&W, so here's one straight from the horse's mouth:

Yay! Congratulations, Peter!
