I want to use this word in a poem

albedo
1. The fraction of light reflected from a body or surface. For example, earth's albedo is around 0.39. 2. The white, spongy inner lining of a citrus fruit rind.

I used to get confused between albedo and albumen.

That's a great word. Hard to write a poem around a word without it seeming forced, though...I find I have to let myself "forget" the word, then let it come back in organically a few months later.

Have fun readng in May with Kathleen Flenniken. She's great!

Glad you enjoyed the word, A, S.
I love A-Word-a-Day. It keeps the doctor away!
