So, "Butterfly Bush" knocks my socks off. I love it. And I loved "Perfect Pitch," too. These made my day today.

Thank You, Charles. You have just made my day, too. So I guess we can both go to back to bed now? ~grin

Late to the party, but wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the poems. Good stuff, Peter. :-)

I enjoyed them too, Peter. Especially loved the first poem--last year practically every tree had a tent caterpillar nest, but this year i didn't see one. Not sure why. Didn't see any deer this year either.

Good poems! Especially "Perfect Pitch." Great poem.

I've always liked your work. And the press. You were one of the only po-bloggers I was familiar with before reading blogs. How could I resist that title: "Saying the World"? I'm also a Copper Canyon Press fan. Had the pleasure of sitting on grant panels for both.

Thanks for the link. (Still waiting for "Sharing A Spanish Lover With You." Delicious title!)
