Dean and I have moved back into the bedroom. But we're just not ready to move back in to the living room and dining room, yet. I'm enjoying the clean empty space, just the way it is now. It's very calm and relaxing. Very Zen. I love how sounds echo in the empty room, off the bare floors. Maybe we'll never move the rest of the furniture back in.

Yes, it just screams for a tatami mat and a single perfect bud in a slender vase.

I always dreamed that if I ever get my own place, with, you know, furnaces that work and a view, etc., I'd have 1 piece of furniture and that would be a bed. And a well stocked kitchen. I'd put my bed in the living room and if I had guests, which you and I know will probably never happen, they can sit on the bed with me or on the floor. I'm holding on to this dream.

Then you could live like Douglas Coupland!

For the record, I too enjoy writing in coffee shops with WiFi. But if they don't have WiFi, that's okay, I don't discriminate.
