I made it into the hospital fairly easily this morning. Most of the main streets had been sanded or plowed. And my little Honda with front wheel drive and chains just plowed right through. It was nice that the streets were pretty much empty of any traffic. Sounds like a lot of staff just slept overnight at the hospital, rather than go home and come back. Not a bad idea.
It has been snowing most of the day today. The Seahawks played their final game of the season in the snow. What a hoot to watch on TV. And we won!
We have over a foot of snow now at our house. I can't remember the last time we have had this much snow. And the forecast is for more through the night. My oh my.
Here is a pic of our front deck table. Wanna come over? We're having a big snow pie for dinner. We'll just drizzle it with chocolate and strawberries and dig in, face first.

Big snow pie!!!!!!!
HHehehehehehahahaha.
Good luck getting in this morning my darling doctor. We have 20 inches of snow and my car is stuck in it on 145th. Not ice, just thick big snow that didn't get plowed. My boss e-mailed and said STAY HOME which was real nice after I trecked up 145th to my house at 5 AM this morning. Timing is everything. Now I'm thawing my toeses and my fingers out near the fire and thank god for GOOD coffee, for once.

Woah! Gorgeous. I am insanely jealous.
We used to make sno-cones -- we sprinkled pre-sweetened kool-aid over cupsful of fresh snow. Drizzled chocolate and strawberries sound so much better. (I haven't done the sno-cone thing since about 1970, just so you know....)
Oh lord we used to do that in Spokane, but with strawberry jam in place of Kool-Aid. It's just good not to think about what's in the snow. Definitely a treat for children, heh.
I made it to work OK today. The worst part was our clinic parking lot, which had not been plowed or shoveled. I almost got stuck just trying to park.

RK: glad you made it back home. May a recommend a hot toddy? It may help increase the circulation back to frozen toes and fingers. xop
Peter, I will follow your Rx to the letter as soon as I can get to the liquor store.
