My birth flower~
I had no idea artichoke flowered!
How wonderful . . . felt like it was a little message just for me!
when you let an artichoke get to that point-- of flowering-- can you still eat it?Or does the pleasure of the flower mean that the pleasure of the heart is past?
Ah Laurel: yes "the pleasure of the flower means the pleasure of the heart is past." Sounds like a great line for a poem.
