New raised beds for our "Victory Garden." We went from 2x6x16 to 2x10x16 tight knot cedar. Had the boards special ordered from Lowe's and brought them home in Dean's truck:

Chicken with bacon! Who would have thought?! Isn't it mouth-watering lovely to look at?

Doesn't bacon make everything better? Hope you both had a fabulous thanksgiving together. May many beautiful things grow in your garden.

Thank you Brent.

I bought Reilly The Bacon Cookbook for Christmas. There used to be a Bacon-of-the-Month-Club,
haven't checked lately to see if it's still there.

Love your new garden beds.

LOVE your raised beds!! Can you and Dean come down here and do that in my backyard too? ;)

ps. what do you use to hold the corners??

Cornshake: Glad you like them. They were pretty easy to build. We use cedar planks, metal els on the corners, held in place with wood screws. We build them on a flat surface (our deck) then carry them to the bed and set them in place.
