Fascinating story on NPR today, about a woman's memoir of being raised by a single gay father, Steve Abbott, who was a poet and part of the San Franciso renaissance, (as well as a founding editor of Poetry Flash, teacher at Naropa, etc), in the 70's-80's in Haight Ashberry.
