The Virtual World

Poetry, the imagination, and the creative life.

Friday, May 02, 2008

I present at the UW Human Face of Medicine class again this AM. And then tonight, dinner with friends before this:

Paul Taylor Dance Company
"The reigning master of modern dance."
Time Magazine

Once considered dangerously experimental and avant-garde, Paul Taylor's choreography is now the gold standard of modern dance. He has successfully bridged the worlds of contemporary dance and ballet, and his creative skills show no signs of abating after more than 52 years and 124 dances. His company's accolades are too numerous to list, but perhaps the San Francisco Chronicle says it best, "The spirit soars whenever Taylor's dancers dance." A not-to-be-missed experience from a true American treasure.

Program:
Aureole
Troilus and Cressida (reduced)
Cloven Kingdom
