Are you familiar with slash fiction?
Charles: I'm not sure what slash fiction is. But I kow there is a whole sub-genre of "Kirk-Spock" or "KS" fiction -- stories written about the famous Star Trek characters as gay lovers. They range from PG-13 to X rated. Entire websites full of them. ~Fascinating~.
So that explains why spock had pointed ears. Kirk was always holding onto them.
